Day 1: Marrakech - Atlas Mountains - Ait Benhaddou - Dades Valley

The first day of 3 day desert tour from Marrakech takes you on a scenic journey through the Atlas Mountains and offers a chance to visit some of Morocco's most famous landmarks and attractions.You'll depart Marrakech in the morning and head towards the Tizi-n-Tichka pass, a winding road that offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Along the way, you'll make a stop at Ait Benhaddou, an ancient fortified village and UNESCO World Heritage site that has served as a backdrop for many Hollywood films. You'll have the opportunity to explore the village on a guided tour and learn about its rich history and cultural significance.You'll then arrive in Dades in the late afternoon and check into a local riad, where you'll have a chance to relax and recharge before enjoying a traditional dinner.

Day 2: Dades Valley - Todra Gorge - Merzouga

On the second day, you will depart early in the morning from the Dades Valley and drive through the Todra Gorge, a breathtaking canyon that offers stunning views of the Atlas Mountains. You will also visit the Tinghir Oasis and the Todra Gorge, where you can admire the greenery and natural beauty of the region. You will then continue your journey to Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert, where you will take a camel ride to a desert camp. Here, you can witness the stunning sunset over the dunes and spend the night under the stars, surrounded by the vast desert landscape.

Day 3: Merzouga - Marrakech

On the final day, you will wake up early to witness the sunrise over the dunes, and return by camel to Merzouga. From there, you will drive back to Marrakech, passing through the High Atlas Mountains. Along the way, you can admire the stunning scenery and get a glimpse into the traditional Berber way of life. This 3 day tour from Marrakech was well organized tour worth time and money to visit Sahara desert, Atlas Mountains, Berber Villages, and other parts of Marrakech in one go. This trip couldn’t be better if you have to return back to Marrakech and are happy to spend 1 night in the desert. You will be able to see pretty much all attractions near Marrakech on this tour. If you have more than 3 days then you can also continue to Fez instead of Marrakech.
